My summer holiday is taken in school holiday time but I usually am on holiday for the second fortnight in February. I very rarely take a few days visiting family in Scotland which might necessitate a gap in sessions.
On your side I only need to know about holidays you intend to take that might affect our sessions. More notice for these will allow me to plan around them for school work etc.
Some parents are keen for students to continue sessions during holidays but others want their children to have a break. I am happy with both and in exam years it is a good destress to include at least a short holiday and plan revision around the holidays.
Cancellations
I am quite comfortable with cancellations. Illnesses happen and trips need to take place. I will plan around any changes. I prefer a week’s notice but if you can give me 24 hours’ notice this helps me plan my days. In principle I reserve the right to charge for a cancelled session but to date I have never done this.
